Hat Trickin’ With Brother Mullins

“On Sunday, January 20th, my intrepid friends and I stunned the hockey world and won the 3rd Annual US Pond Hockey Championships, Rink Rat Division (2nd tier).  We played five games in one day and won all five, including a 6-5 thriller for the title.   Attached, please find a picture of my team with the coveted Silver Scoop.  We get our names on it and everything.  It wasn't the open division, but it was still pretty cool to win.  Last year we got shellacked in the semis, so it was great to come back and finish #1.  Next year we will have to play in the open division again, in which even teams featuring former NHLers failed to advance out of pool play.”
