I am scheduled as the route master for Saturday's 8- and 13-mile runs. The Red Flannel race (5 M and 3 M) in Des Moines is also scheduled for that day. It would be helpful to know if know if the Vardo Nation is planning on running the Red Flannel Race. This week's temperatures and Saturday's race may impact things. Could you ask for a show of electronic hands as to the number of Vardos that are planning on running the 8 or 13 on Saturday? After the run, there is a pancake feed at the Moose Lodge from 8-12 (adults $4; kids 6-12 $2; under 6 free).
