And Now:  Dr. Sister Stacey Roberts

"As many of you may know, I am headed to Austria, the home of Mozart and "The Sound of Music", for a summer internship. While I'm very sad to leave all of the wonderful Vardos behind, I'll think of you each time I run with the Alps in the distance or perhaps when I enjoy a bike ride along the Danube River. Yeah, it's going to be rough! If you want to follow along on my journey, check out www.stacey34.wordpress.com where I am going to keep a blog of the trip. You can leave comments for me on that site too (I will still have my stacey34@iastate.edu e-mail address).  Following my trip to Austria, I will be moving to Ohio for a job."      (Editor's Note:  Brother Mullins is now accepting offers of casseroles, clean clothing, light housekeeping, and gently used female companions.)

"Therefore, Tuesday will be my last Vardo run for a while. I thought it fitting to have a farewell Vardo dinner after our run on Tuesday. May I propose El Azteca for dinner followed by Hickory Park ice cream? I can't leave Ames without a final serving of Hickory Park Cherry Fudge Sundae!"

"Pictures (attached) of the goodies from the State Center Rose Festival 7-mile run. A race that all Vardos should consider for 2010!"
(Editor's Note:  The picture of that zany Brother Mullins going goo-goo over Lolo.  Captions anyone?)
