From The Rasmussen Mapping Laboratory:   Some Fine Routes For Tuesday Night

"Hope the maps come thru on the link!  Brookside is my favorite city park in the world.  If I'm setting the route, we're running through it.  5 milers run thru once, 8 milers run thru twice!"

An Actual Conversation That Took Place Before Last Saturday's Group Run

Nurse Franken:   . .. . blah . . blah . .  blah . .  and there's water at Brookside Park and the fountain at the high school tennis courts blah . . blah .. etc.   Blah.
Mr. Klotzbach:    Most excellent, man.
Mayor Moran:    Truly, Nurse Franken, you are a RouteMaster genius.
Nurse Franken:   Plus, you can stop at Brother Mullins house at the corner of 24th and Hayes.  He always has his hose hanging out.

Would You Eat Pancakes In A Car? Would You Eat Pancakes From A Jar?
Well, how 'bout pancakes and a t-shirt from GAAR?  Contact Art The Barton if you would like to volunteer for GAAR.  Volunteers receive a fine pancake breakfast, a stylish GAAR  t-shirt, and a wet, sloppy smooch from Art.   Contact Art here:  a.barton@mchsi.com

Brother Rasmussen Offers Assistance RE:   Mr. Delaney's "Wardrobe Malfunction"

In response to last week's report on the Vardo Bike Tour of Boone County, and the unfortunate debut of Mr. Delaney's "Locker Room Al Fresco":

"You can't survive RAGBRAI without a "Sportkilt", and they are much more fashionable and functional than a towel.  I'm glad I missed (Mr. Delaney's)  'display', but that sure was a great route he put together."   Tim Rasmussen
