OK. If you are playing mah-jongg online right now, put the damn thing on autopilot 'cuz we have some fresh beef to chew / digest / etc.
Behold:
Saturday Group Run Routes: Russ The Laczniak and Kathy The Laczniak
Kathy and I have routes for Saturday. If we read the schedule correctly, we are supposed to map six and eight mile runs. The link for both runs are attached. Since it is a tapering week, we will plan to start at 7:30 a.m. We will put a cooler with water at the Brookside Bridge (on 13th street) and runners can also get water at various other public spots on the eight-mile route (e.g., Brookside Park, various campus buildings, etc.). We will have bagels and juice after the run at our house (address is 818 Idaho Ave) and will be willing to allow visits with Joey The Goat (the most handsome goat in town) and Charlie The Dog. Twin Cities Marathon Update
Our good friend Mike Rosenberg also had a fine finish at this event on Sunday. Mike joined Team Vardo earlier this year and trained like a machine all summer. Most excellent.

Run For The Roses – Sunday Morning
Hell, run for the omelets. You know you like omelets. And they serve up some fine ones at this event. Cheese, veggies, ham, it's a festival of breakfast. So be sure to head out to the Ames Middle School on Sunday morning for the Run for the Roses. This is also a delightful opportunity to smoke the ol' peace pipe with our Ames Area Running Club friends, so bring your trading beads, pelts, tobacco and other wampum / trinkets. "Erin and I are getting married on Friday, we will be doing a Bride and Groom "Run for the Roses". If anyone will be running, we will see them there! " Professor Tom Schultz
