"Nice 4 mi recovery run (mostly flat) for those that ran this weekend."   Paul

Des Moines Half / Full Marathon

Vardo's came. Vardo's saw. Vardo's conquered.  Or, as they say out at the Barilla plant, Veni Vidi Vardo.  Great weather, great volunteers, and even a little something for the railroad enthusiasts in our little group.

The Team Vardo Annual Holiday Awards Banquet - A Tradition Since 1973

OK, pretend you work for the DOT or ISU or the City of Ames or Shoppes on Grand or some other cash sucking parasitic entity. So the first order of business for any of these fine organizations is to form a study committee and hire some consultants to get the planning underway.  Next, we need is someone(s) to chair the Team Vardo Annual Holiday Awards Banquet Committee.  OK, thank you, Kori Heuss and Kirstin Peterson.  Now we need to decide where the committee will hold the TVAHAB planning meetings - OK, El Azteca.  Man, this is easier than I thought it would be . . . .

A Friendly Reminder

On July 1, the Vardaman Center became smork-free.   Signs have been posted (see attached) - please don't smork.
